The show must go on. Last-minute I-forgot-to-post stuff. Friday, Sep 19 2008

The Candy one looks like an anti-drug or anti-smoking cmapaign. Hehe.

Second one is called Guilt.

Third one is Prejudice.

Fourth one is Penetrate and Manifest -a rotting root-

Go figure. Don’t be lazy. Don’t be stuffed in your cotton candy fluff.

It’s just this creepy guy who appears in your dreams and tries to kill you. Or something you.

Original by Kaori Yuki. Forgot his name from Boys Next Door. Orignal size was a pretty small panel, like less than a third of the book. Don’t you just love his forlorn expression? Check this manga out. *^^*

Old lousy pencil work. Only like the hair and the dress. Shoes…uhm…

Ignore the face XD I just had to put something there. And it’s old.

Uhm…my first few attempts at fashion design. Obviously lacking the skills and practice in both the linework and depiction. *hides in one corner* But I hope that the designs themselves aren’t too bad…I mean, I can’t really tell since I have zero experience and not much exposure. Or I’m just not cut out for it. But I kinda like it doing it.

Oh, and there’s lack of shading. Decided to leave that out for the meantime, as I think it’d only make it look worse since I’m not all too good with that.

Had to scan in two parts since my scanner…has a weird problem. Poses were copied, selected to fit the certain designs I already had. Hairstyles done by me…am also lacking experience in that *droops head*

Left: Semi formal casual onepiece. Pockets are fun. I think it’d look good as a party dress or something without the translucent top, but then it’d have to be a two-piece or have a slightly different design so it can be tied arund the waist belt or be let down to be a secone layer? Suggestions, anyone? =D

The shoes were kind of London inspired. Kind of, because I can’t say I really know what London fashion is about, but it gives me that English feel. I know has something to do with the ’grids’  though -.-

Don’t ask me about the hair. No comment. Boring? Typical yet stylish? Old? Lame? I don’t know. I’ve got even less exposure to hair styling. I pretty much only know a bit about Korean and Japanese hair trends…tsk.

Middle: Girly coat dress. Kind of inspired by Korean fashion, that likes simple, clean form with some fanciness (as what I’ve tried to derive…). I’ve been looking at too much Korean stuff these days. Oh no, K-wave. Moving on.

The booties look really oriental with the black fastening thing like in Chinese dresses, as well as the clouds…pretty cute (I’m turning more and more girlie by the minute, help).

I quite ike the hairstyle, wavy dark black. Sophisticated yet funky. Though the fringe might be too round. Eep. The straight-cut bangs are in style now. Looks nice if it’s done properly and suits, or else it’d just look wannabe.

Right: Simple ladies’ coat with long sleeveless dress. The scarf-like piece is attached, the two parts hanging down can be tied together(as shown) or be left untied. The overall look reminds me of Manhattan, particularly the skirt, and I can’t explain why. Maybe it’s the clean, cool CBD look, where office women like simple touches to add style to their typical everyday wear.

I thought that it would good to have short parted hair, it feels more womanly than girlish and also appears more forthright and confident.

Alright, let’s admit it: Japan inspired. I’m so unoriginal. Slightly avant garde dress, with the high socks and platform shoes, and most of all, the almost-afro hair. Yes, the drawing is….wai. *slaps self*

That’s all~ before I embarrass myself further.

(just realised that my ’photography’ tag is ‘photgraphy’. oops)
