The Hangings Wednesday, Sep 17 2008

Taken when I was in the art room, all by my lonesome. And when one is alone, one thinks of stupid things. Haha. Alright, whatever. A new perspective of our dear, rarely ever used, easels, and their dear hanged friends, pegs.

Resembling a stairway, you walk through the rows of hangings. They are lined up in a rather orderly fashion, like a sacrificial ritual, and sway, begruntled, swaying, restless, they look at you with invisible eyes, like zombies. What are you doing here?

Ok, the technical part is oviously missing, in which I would like to make the excuse that I was using my 1.3 mega pixel camera phone which has survived, I vaguely repeat, many many damaging encounters. So just…appreciate the composition. Yes, the simple things in life.

I know I make you go, -_-;;. Smile ^_^v

One of the most critically acclaimed animation films ever made.

DelusionIdentificationManifestation

Colour pencil on black paper. They’re here because they existed. Manifestation, identification, and delusion. Self-explanatory. It’s too corny to say it in words. Old stuff. Boy, have I grown.

Hyde down there was real recently done. Like, just a moment ago. A rather painful moment.

Lyrics next. (Huh. Can’t help it. Had to put them in sooner or later)

Paradox is the name of a song and probably some other underground band Saturday, Jan 26 2008

Old Juliana. I just found out that Juliana mean ‘youth’, ‘joy’ etc. Regarding where this came from in the first place…it was purely thoughtless. I was doing my usual nonsensical writing when I felt like putting in ‘old’, and a noun had to follow that. Tada, Juliana. And it sounded like a band name. Pretty cool. Juliana sounds kinda girly, but more feminine than cutesy, and old balanced it out, like…grunge romantic? Or just old school wannabe.

Youth that is advanced in age…?

Oh, yea, that photo is there for the heck of it. I took it during the bus ride to VCH for the band’s 10th annual concert. Yeah, old shot from sec 2, but I love it even until now. I really have a thing for cities. CBD, you know. Say it wasn’t really an ideal shot, with raindrops and all, but what makes me so proud of it is the composition. I even used it for my handphone’s wallpaper for a year or so. Yes, taken with my trusty old phone that survived a one storey drop. The tall buildings clustered on one side, the short ones covering the other, the tiny cranes (or whatever they are) in between, the lamp posts spread out along the road, the uncluttered traffic, the simple cars, especially the one nearest to the viewer (makes me feel like it’s some sort of a movie and that I’m following it) and even the gloomy sky. City life, the rush that’s not there, yet. A lucky shot on a turning vehicle. I rather put these kind of stuff up than that pretty little flower I shot in NZ. It was one of those types that had a very clear subject at the foreground with a blurred background. Looks nearly professional. Yea, me being egoistic and not sorry about it.

I might be drawing something soon ^( ^-^)> We love smileys.

Developmental process tracking Saturday, Jan 12 2008

I just want to get in a Lamborghini and drive far far away in full speed. Fall off a cliff and land up in space.

I want to draw, not make art. Making art has become a responsibility. Responsibility is for survival.

Is survival a responsibility? How annoying and boring.

There wouldn’t be an artwork up anytime soon, because I doodle too much.
